CAMP CHOICE first
opened it's doors to elementary students
across Ontario in May 2006, offering a fun-packed program to promote
education and help younger students learn about different career paths and workplace opportunities.
Humber Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning is the stage for this 3-day Residential Education Camp developed specifically to introduce grade 6, 7, and 8 students to different career options and provide an opportunity to experience life on a college campus.
The CAMP CHOICE
adventure consists of 2 nights accommodation in our student residence
with a complete meal plan. Throughout the day campers
participate in a variety of informative workshops that require thought,
teamwork, and offer hands-on learning. Each
professionally designed workshop is delivered by knowledgeable senior
student camp
staff in specialized learning labs, classrooms, and studios and
showcase related future career and workplace opportunities.
And they
all contain one common thread – FUN!
To round out the adventure, each camp program offers evening
entertainment, a variety of group activities, and plenty of
opportunities to socialize and make new friends.
